It is also home to a 480 ton white boulder situated on the main beach that gives the city it’s name. While many residents enjoy water sports on its beaches such as kite surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding, White Rock is perhaps best known in the sports world for its yearly cycling race "Tour De White Rock”.
